Onwards and upwards.. well up a ladder!

Ok, so yesterday the plan was to go for a light session at the gym then go home and pit the first coat on the hallway.

What actually happened was I went to the gym and ended up doing an hour solid on the treadmill, something I've never dome on my life before.

I'm actualy quite pleased with my progress in my attempt to lose weight, I think I'm pushing the two stone target I set myself. Plus with the weights and early morning swimming 3 times a week, I think it's toning me rather than just making me thinner.

Anyway, no gym tonight, definitely putting that first coat of paint on
the hallway.

Have also discovered "twitter" which I may try to keep up to date also.

So the painting of the hallway is well advanced and the house is
coming together nicely.

The bathroom is done, (bar some new skirting boards), Vic is painting
the spare room herself because her sisters are visiting this weekend.
And then we'll finish the hall and put the bannister back on the wall.

Once all this is done we can finally sit back and enjoy the house with
only a need for minor alterations.

As for me, I'm wrecked today, probably down to a big gym session
yesterday. My two big projects are rolling on and on, and I'm mainly
looking forward to a days leave on Friday.

Vic has taken a load of photos of the bathroom and stuff as we've been
decorating, I'll get copies and blog them up tonight or tomorrow for
all to see.
